My students graduated today. I'll write more on it later here.
In the evening, I met the girls for dinner in Kobe at Le-Ba-Ta Clan, a trendy cafe that we've had our eyes on for awhile. The service was rude and slow--surprising for Japan--but the food was delish.
For some reason I have no photo of my pizza. I didn't care for the chunks of smoky mystery meat, but I loved the crust and fresh tomato sauce.
Chris met us at the cafe, having driven from Tamba. We dropped Wendy off at home before returning to my place. We shared a box of sweets he received from a former co-worker. The sweets were packaged in paper cut to resemble the ingredients used--yuzu (a citron), kuri (chestnut), and matcha (green tea).
